I was in Annapolis today when the weather shifted from sunny to stormy quite suddenly. It was crazy.....One of the most beautiful thunderstorm skies I've ever seen. I was driving when this happened and had to pull off at the first available place.

This was taken at the WWII memorial near the Naval Academy.

I was much too excited about the sky to really pay attention to what I was doing with my camera.

Well the lightning was off in the distance still....
When I started feeling raindrops and the wind picked up, I decided I should get back in my car....
I have to admit I was a little nervous seeing that storm moving in....but it was SO awesome.

Absolutely gorgeous. I want to see this photo win some awards, its that good. You best be planning on entering it in some competitions, because that is an extraordinary capture.
